About us
As passionate shooters our objective is a simple one: to provide the highest level of customer service by supplying a comprehensive range of quality firearms, apparel, equipment and shooting gear from the best brand leaders in the industry.
Red Dot Shooting was established in 2006, the result of an idea discussed during a long return drive to Florida after competing in the 2006 USPSA Handgun Nationals held at Pasa Park, IL. What was originally conceived to be a small part time endeavour to simply help susidize our lavish shooting expenses quickly grew. From a few product lines carried in a truck and then small trailer, a spare room a double garage, then a warehouse and a store. Our history is not unlike countless other businesses in America. A dream of what can be achieved with a lot of hard work, sound business acumen, a willingness to take extreme financial risks and a little luck along the way. Our continued success is the the result of our customers' support over the years, for which we are always extremely grateful.
To help support the shooting sports Red Dot Shooting actively attends and sponsors numerous USPSA ICORE IDPA and Steel Challenge matches across the country.
As an FFL we stock both new as well as pre owned firearms. For those customers seeking to add something special to their collection, we provide FFL transfer services and gunsmithing to our customers. We maintain a comprehensive inventory which continues to expand to keep pace with our customer demand. Orders are normally shipped within 24 hours whenever possible. If you have questions on what gear is best we are always happy to help you with your potential purchase, so please dont hesitate to ask.
We would appeal to any gun owner to attend their local clubs and take part in a new competitve shooting discipline.
