Bolen Base Pad

The Bolens basepad has been carving quite a slice in the STI/SV mag accessories after market over the last year or so and quite rightly so becasue they can squeeze that little bit of extra space in your mag capacity. Although designed for use with Bolens spring and followers the basepad performs equally well with other configurations. Whatever you choose always size you mag to ensure that your mags are legal. For a general guide however:-

Use the 3mm pad for SV/STI/SPS/Rescomp 140/170mm magazines which should provide once your mag is tuned a possible 21 rounds of 40S&W or 30 rouds in 38SC. In the case of the Rescomp Ultra tube you should easily achieve a relaoadable 21 rounds.

Use the 4mm base pad for SV/STI/SPS/Rescomp 140/170mm tubes of slightly shorter length. The 4mm pad should with tuning provide a maximum of 21rds of 40S&W and 30rds in 38SC

Use the 7mm pad for SPS 134/164mm magazines in 9mm/38super. The 164mm tune shold hold a reloadable 30rds 9mm/38sc and 134mm tunes should hold 21rds of 40 S&W
