NRA Basic Pistol Course

The NRA Basic Pistol Course is an exellent introduction to handgun ownership. This certification is also recognized by FL State for a concealed weapons license.

The course is extremely comprehensive and lasts a whole day. Some of the subjects covered includes safety, how handguns work, ammunition, gun ownership, cleaning, dealing with malfunctions and their causes, and the fundamentals of handgun shooting itself.  The Florida statutes are also covered. Once the classroom lessons are complete, we put it all to practice at the range.
